West Bengal State University 3rd yr results to be published on 27th July

West Bengal State University Barasat University 3rd year B.A., B.Sc., B.Com (Hons.+Pass) results 2011 to be published on 27th July 2011.

The university results are prepared on 25th July 2011 & the College authorities are requested to collect the mark sheet & gazettes on 26th July 2011 from 3p.m. onward. Students will get their results on 27th July. But the time is still not declared by the university. I think that it depends on the colleges when they want to declare after all the necessary formalities. When i contacted with the university today (26th July 12:00 p.m.) & asked for the internet publishing of the results they told that they are still discussing on the matter. I personally thing that they shall publish the result on internet 27th July 2011 at 12:00 p.m. for the ease of the students to get their results quickly, cause it is deep tension on the students mind about how much they shall get.

W.B.C.H.S.E. class 12 results will be combined with class 11 results in the final marksheet

Today Higher Education Ministry of West Bengal are discussing about adding class XI marks with class XII marks in the mark sheet of class XII (Higher Secondary Exam of West Bengal). Previously, from 2007 batch, class XI & XII results were separated and only class XII results are showed on the final mark sheet. But today Ministry of W.B. Higher Educations are revising this decision, cause before 2007 both class XI & XII mark were added to show on the mark sheet.

But this decision is not final yet. But one thing to remember that the exams of Class Xi & class XII will be held as the current system, means individual final exams for the individual classes. So one thing is clear for the students is that if this decision is accepted & the rule is passed then the students have to read hard & carefully for both the classes to get colorful score on the mark sheet. Cause till date from 2007, students tendency was only to pass the XI exam anyhow & read for the XII, cause class marks were being neglected & quoted nowhere. This decision is now all up on the ministry.

Aditya Pancholi to act in Rajib's next movie Idiot

Tolly director Rajib, after the success of his recent hit "Paglu" starring Dev & Koel; has started his next project Idiot. The movie will star Rajib's wife Srabati & the Kellafate star Ankush.

But you might think that what is so new in this movie? So for your information, Rajib in an interview with TOI has said that Aditya Pancholi, the YELLOW EYED bolly star will cast as the big brother of Srabanti in the movie.

Aditya Pancholi, the handsome hunk will act in a tollywood movie...had someone think that before!!! Now Rajib
is making this happen in Bengali movie Idiot which is due to release in 2011. Aditya Pancholi so too

File Sharing websites banned by Department of Telecom

Hello Kolkata, today at morning i was just clicked on a mediafire download link (Don't want to tell what!!!) this irritating page showed up instead of the Mediafire download page,

WTF??????? What happened to this... I tried many times, refreshed the page, restarted the computer but nothing worked.. Then, surfing internet i found that The Department Of Telecom (DOT) has blocked all the file sharing in India. I rather searched for more info and found the following informations..

1. Department of Telecom (DOT) has banned this these file sharing websites to operate in India

2. DOT have also banned many Indian Porn websites.
3. As Per News TRAI And Telecom Company's Are Banning This To Prevent Piracy And PORN In India. Also TRAI And Telecom Company's Are Getting Huge Money From The Movie Etc Company's or Production houses To Block File Hosting Sites.
4. Some saying that they are still able to open these sites, there is still no official announcement from DOT about the ban or open.
5. Hackers and web geeks are using Open DNS system, using proxies to open these sites.
6. Many are saying that this is a copy of China to control the internet freedom of Internet users & some are saying that as Malaysia banned file hosting sites 1 months back so India is walking the same way.
7. Some are saying that it is varying from time to time e.g. one opens Fileserve at 12.30 am fine bout it is not opening at 1.15 am, again it opens in 2.35am and not in 3.10am.. This is going on.

But what people is not getting the answer of that why is this ban.. What is the main reason behind this. banning File hosts are not a cure for the piracy problem, blocking the Piracy websites is the main idea. If you want ot block the piracy stop the websites that are sharing illegal materials not the Hosting sites. Cause there are many Internet users who use these file hosting sits to back up their data, share important documents and lots more valuable stuffs. I dont' know who's brain is working behind this rule but the Internet Users are not taking it as a good thing, rather they are not stopping at abusing this rule.

But still at Kolkata we can't do anything to fix it permanently, but one thing we can do for sure. Raise your voice to abolish this foolish decision via your social networking websites, forums and all the other ways you can...
